Entier postal catalogué sous Bureaux de poste allemands en Turquie, numéro U 5 dans le catalogue Michel. L'entier postal mesure 157:124 mm et existe aussi en tant qu'entier postal privé. Il est oblitéré Jérusalem en octobre 1908 (impossible de définir le jour) à destination de Bhamdoum au Liban. Il n'y a rien au verso. Jérusalem faisait partie de l'Empire ottoman à cette époque.
Les services postaux allemands en Turquie ont existé de 1870 jusqu'au début de la Première Guerre mondiale en 1914.
Le moutassarifat de Jérusalem ou sandjak de Jérusalem, est une province de l'Empire ottoman détachée du vilayet de Syrie en 1872, dotée d'un statut spécial et dépendant directement du gouvernement de Constantinople. Il se maintient jusqu'à la Première Guerre mondiale et à la conquête britannique en 1917-1918. En 1920, il est rattaché au mandat britannique de Palestine.
Je ne peux pas dire si cette lettre a vraiment voyagée ou si c'est une fabrication.

Sie ist abgestempelt von Jerusalem im Oktober 1908 (der Tag lässt sich nicht bestimmen) nach Bhamdoum im Libanon. Die Rückseite ist leer. Jerusalem war zu dieser Zeit Teil des Osmanischen Reichs.
Die Deutschen Posteinrichtungen in der Türkei bestanden von 1870 bis zum Ausbruch des Ersten Weltkrieges 1914.
Das Jerusalem-Mustassarifat oder der Jerusalem-Sandschak war eine Provinz des Osmanischen Reichs, die 1872 vom Vilayet Syrien abgetrennt wurde, einen Sonderstatus erhielt und direkt der Regierung in Konstantinopel unterstand. Sie blieb bis zum Ersten Weltkrieg und der britischen Eroberung 1917-1918 bestehen. Im Jahr 1920 wurde es dem britischen Mandat für Palästina angegliedert.

It is cancelled Jerusalem in October 1908 (impossible to define the day) to Bhamdoum in Lebanon. There is nothing on the back. Jerusalem was part of the Ottoman Empire at that time.
