The Jump of Prince Charles in Saverne, everybody knows it. It is reached by climbing the Pass of Saverne and passing by the Botanical Garden.
According to the legend, a Prince of Lorraine, during a hunt (others say to escape an ambush), carried away by a spirited horse, would have jumped from the top of this escarpment and would have arrived safe and sound at the bottom of the precipice. The horse's hooves left their prints in the bottom of the rock.
