Lettre de Landau dans le Palatinat, du 13 mai 1873 (ça va faire 147 ans dans quelques jours!) pour Godramstein qui se trouve à quelques kilomètres.
Ce n'est pas loin de Wissembourg et les alsaciens connaissent.
Un petit bonjour à notre membre Daniel qui était militaire à Landau.
Vous allez me dire qu'il y a erreur sur cette lettre.
Pourquoi? Parce qu'elle est affranchie d'un timbre de Bavière.
Cependant vous avez tort, car le Palatinat du Rhin, faisait longtemps partie du Royaume de Bavière.
Vous voyez, tout est bien qui fini bien.
Brief von Landau in der Pfalz vom 13. Mai 1873 (in wenigen Tagen sind es 147 Jahre!) an das wenige Kilometer entfernte Godramstein.
Es ist nicht weit von Wissembourg entfernt und die Elsässer kennen es.
Ein kleines Hallo an unser Mitglied Daniel, der Soldat in Landau war.
Sie werden mir sagen, dass dieser Brief einen Fehler enthält.
Was ist daran falsch? Weil er mit einer Marke aus Bayern frankiert ist.
Aber Sie irren sich, denn die Rheinpfalz war lange Zeit Teil des Königreichs Bayern.
Sie sehen, Ende gut, alles gut.
Letter from Landau in the Palatinate, dated May 13th, 1873, (it will be 147 years in a few days!) to Godramstein which is a few kilometers away.
