Bonjour Harald, bonjour Jean,
Thank you very much for your explanations. I already had some information here:
Regarding the KK/5 stamp, I had as an indication that it was of British origin. Indeed they are in Palestine since 1920 and maybe more in Jerusalem?
For the band of the Levant for me it would be Beirut. Indeed, I have another envelope with the same strip "obliterated" with a red stamp with the Cross of Lorraine that was applied by the French.
Concerning the blue stripe, I am much more comfortable there. It is Manchu. Used by the Manchoukouo post office between March 1943 and May 1945. The texts are bilingual Chinese/Japanese. They mean: "Opened by the post office of the Manchu Empire, according to the temporary postal law." Its dimensions are 80 x 39 mm. In fact, from 1943 onwards, it is frequently found on international mail.
However, what I'm still wondering about is the red "ISTANBUL" stamp, attached the visual. Censorship in Turkey or not?
Thanks again to you and if I can help in my knowledge it will be a pleasure.
