Belle amélioration qui permet de resserrer l'écart avec le timbre à date allemand vu encore le 5 juin 1920 et qui permet d'être à peu près certain que cette agence n'a pas eu de timbre à date provisoire.
Comme je l'écrivais dans l'ouvrage édité en 2019 par la SPAL (en page 44), il ne s'agit peut-être pas d'une erreur initialement.
En effet, les PTT locales l'avaient classée en Moselle comme le montrent ces listes datant de mars 1920 qui se trouvent dans la cote 121AL1146 des ADBR.
En tout cas, cela ne vient pas du fabricant (KLEIN à Paris) qui n'a pas pu "inventer" une telle gravure...

Auf jeden Fall stammt es nicht vom Hersteller (KLEIN in Paris), der eine solche Gravur nicht "erfunden" haben kann...

Nice improvement that narrows the gap with the German date stamp seen again on June 5, 1920 and makes it pretty certain that this agency did not have a provisional date stamp.
As I wrote in the book published in 2019 by the SPAL (on page 44), this may not have been an error initially.

In any case, it does not come from the manufacturer (KLEIN in Paris) who could not "invent" such an engraving...
