Il n'est pas rare que des documents postés depuis le Royaume-Uni vers une destination étrangère portent un cachet de la poste étrangère pour le voyage.
Deux raisons courantes : le timbre n'a pas été oblitéré au Royaume-Uni (ou le cachet de la poste a manqué le timbre) et il a donc été oblitéré au bureau de poste étranger afin d'être annulé, ou bien il s'agit d'un "timbre de transit" indiquant la date du voyage de l'article, qui a accidentellement recouvert le timbre (normalement placé en blanc sur l'enveloppe).
Très intéressant pour les collectionneurs qui cartographient les itinéraires (parfois inhabituels !) et les heures de passage du courrier à l'étranger, traité dans plusieurs bureaux de poste en cours de route.

Es kommt nicht selten vor, dass Sendungen, die vom Vereinigten Königreich nach Übersee verschickt werden, einen Auslandsstempel aufweisen.
Dafür gibt es zwei häufige Gründe: Die Briefmarke wurde nicht im Vereinigten Königreich abgestempelt (oder der Poststempel hat die Briefmarke verfehlt), so dass sie im ausländischen Postamt abgestempelt wurde, so dass sie entwertet wurde, oder es handelt sich um einen "Transitstempel", der das Reisedatum der Sendung anzeigt und versehentlich die Briefmarke verdeckt hat (die normalerweise an einer leeren Stelle auf dem Umschlag angebracht ist).
Sehr interessant für Sammler, die die (manchmal ungewöhnlichen!) Routen und Zeiten der Post, die ins Ausland geht und unterwegs in verschiedenen Postämtern bearbeitet wird, aufzeichnen.

It's not rare for material posted from UK to an overseas destination to have an overseas postmark for the journey.
Two common reasons: the stamp hadn't been postmarked in UK (or the postmark had missed the stamp) so it was postmarked at the foreign post office so that it was cancelled, or it's a "transit datestamp" showing the date of the journey of the item, and it just accidentally covered the stamp (normally put somewhere blank on theenvelope).
Very interesting for collectors who map the routes (sometimes unusual!) and times of post going abroad being handled at several post offices on the way.
