Mai 1937.
On this British postal stationary it is written in pencil, "Entier Privé". Indeed, this postal stationary with the effigy of George V is not to be found in Michel's catalog of Western European postal stationaries. Who would know for which firm or occasion, this postal stationary was issued? For the triangular cachet it could be a cachet used at the beginning of the 20th century as mentioned by M. Melot in another subject. It was used to cancel the stamps affixed on objects sent in number: circulars, printed matter, newspapers, etc., which seems plausible to me, because the postage costs for foreign countries amounted to 2 ½ Pence for an Ounce. W.I certainly corresponds to a city, but tonight I can't find anything in the Stanly Gibbons "Collect British Postmarks". The arrival postmark from Nancy in Meurthe-et-Moselle is May 6th, 1937.
