Au verso deux timbres à dates, l'un du 25 mai à Ottawa, l'autre de Halifax du 26 mai. Je ne comprends pas tout à fait, puisque la destination est Ottawa. Quelle est l'explication ? Merci d'avance.
Zensierter Brief aus Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon vom 22. Mai 1942 nach Ottawa, Kanada. Der Poststempel ist nicht lesbar. Auf der Rückseite zwei Datumsstempel, einer vom 25. Mai in Ottawa, der andere vom 26. Mai in Halifax. Das verstehe ich nicht ganz, denn das Ziel ist Ottawa. Was ist die Erklärung dafür? Vielen Dank im Voraus.
Censored letter from Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon dated May 22th, 1942, to Ottawa, Canada. The postmark is not legible. On the back two date stamps, one of May 25th in Ottawa, the other of May 26th in Halifax. I don't quite understand, since the destination is Ottawa. What is the explanation? Thanks in advance.
